Councillor Michael Swift

Burwell Parish Council is sad to announce the death of Councillor Michael Swift on the 10th of September. Michael joined the Council in 2015 and has been an invaluable member serving on many committees. He was a driving force behind the fundraising and redevelopment of the facilities at the recreation ground amongst many other achievements. Our thoughts are with his with his wife, our Chair, Liz and their family. A funeral will be held on 10th October at 3pm in St Mary’s Church, Burwell.
